Changes for the Hag

I wanted to post this quick note about why I have not posted anything for the last week. No I haven’t forgotten about you, I just have a lot going on lately.
For starters I got a job offer this past week that I just could not walk away from.
I will be working full time for a data mining company in Kenton, Ohio starting this Monday. This does not mean that I will be throwing up my hand and walking away from position at the McKinnis House. On the contrary, I will still be finishing out the year at least at my historic site. How? Well I will be covering weekend programs and tying up loose ends at home.
I also will be moving within the next week or so to Kenton, Ohio. Kenton is about 40 minutes south of Findlay and is home to the first Medal of Honor recipient, Pvt. Jacob Parrott.
We found a nice house for rent; I think it was built in 1910, which is a mile away from work and two blocks from the local museum. I have done some research on the house and it seems that a lot of average people have lived at the property. It was home to an early police man and at one time a business man who owned a general store. I don’t plan on talking too much about the house since it was built in the 21st century…well at least at this time
I still plan on posting my findings on 19th century stain removers I’m just a little overwhelmed right now.
Do not worry fellow Hags I do not plan on abandoning you! There is just too much research to walk away from! Not my image!!
